| This is the homepage for the Gilder- Lehrman History Program at Roanoke Rapids High School. RRHS is the only school in North Carolina that has been invited to partcipate in this program. The Gilder-Lehrman program is sponsored by The Gilder-Lehrman Institute in New York City. This Institute provides substantial financial backing to promote a better understanding of American History and donates money so that students can visit historical landmarks, study primary source documents, and experience history first hand. Also, students have the opportunity to participate in college lectures provided by Dr. David Zonderman of North Carolina State University. |
